So the last few wks ive noticed that theres on excitement in my life anymore, an like my life is on a treadmill its like the same thing every day an its startin to look like i dont have a purpose anymore. an the more i think on this the more it seems that way. i hate thinkin like this but it just dont look like it to me. so wut do you do to get that spark back? how do you find out wut your purpose is in this life we all live?

well, i don't know what you do, but i can give you advice to help. you can probably get your spark back by doing something new or doing what you usually do differently. you can take up a new hobby if you do or don't have one, join a club, or maybe create a bucket list if you haven't already and try to do those things on the list.

everyone has a purpose in this life we all live. some of us just don't find it as soon as others. just keep on doing what you do best, live life, have as much fun as possible, and keep hope alive. don't give up.

maybe you can sit down and write a list of things you like to do and makes you happy that benefits other and yourself. that can possibly help you find your purpose and give you an idea of what to do to get your spark back.

My life lost it's purpouse a long time ago, I do plenty of things that others deem as exiting, however they're nothing but boring to me. -.-

@Mod DonDon.... thank you. well, something else that could help is change your routine. for example, if you play video games most of the time, try doing some other type of games or mini competitions with friends. you can start a new routine and do things differently, or go see a movie you really want to see if you haven't been to the theater lately. you can look up concerts and save up for an upcoming one you want to see. i dunno if i said it before, but there are lots of things to get your spark back and help you find a purpose. just have fun


@Skelletonike.... maybe you should try the same things i suggested. who knows. it might help if you haven't done some of them already. you're still young and you're life still has purpose which you probably do not know of yet. it'll probably take a while longer for you to realize your spark and purpose. if you're life did lose it's purpose, you'd probably be dead already.

i dunno about you, but i believe that we all have a purpose here in the world. and just for an example, even babies who die very young have a purpose. they change the lives of their parents around even if it doesn't seem so.... sooner or later it'll catch them. and for those unborn and aborted, they may not serve the purpose changing their parents' lives, but they do for others.

see those are all good ideas on somethin to do but the only problem wit that is those sometimes require money which is somethin i lack lol. but ill take those ideas into consideration

I so not believe in the whole "we all have a purpose" I'm afraid. I believe we MAKE our own purposes and destinies. I was in the same boat your in hell sometimes that boat still sweeps me away.I used to get rid of it by doing something exciting you know getting an adreneline rush thing with that is it wears off really quick so no instead of complaining or wondering how boring my life is I'm just happy with what I got. Some people would kill to do the things we do.When I am really stuck though I do the things that make me happy like learn a new computer program (torrents are my friends) or hang with friends. haha you know what I did once when I was REALLY in a rut? I only had a dollar 50 so I went on a bus I had never gone on before and got lost than I spent the rest of the day finding my way home.May sound stupid but you meet the most intresting people in the middle of downtown. but my best advice is just be happy with what you have and indeed change your routine a bit.If you need money...well um...lemonade anyone?

damn i wish we had buses here lol. i would so do that idea. thats not creepy at all though a 19 yr old standin outside sellin lemonade. ill get my niece to do it shes younger an ppl would think it was cute so i get more money then. thanx for the idea lol

lol you don't necessarily need money to do all those things. i do most of them with my friends, and we're broke. last time we hung out, we all met up at my house and someone conveniently brought their own camera so we all got idle, took pictures, made retarded videos and somehow conquered our boredom for a day. it was fun. we also had a mini-competition where we ran down the street and back. the last 2 people to finish had to face a dare and the first 2 people to finish gave them the dares while the rest of us watched.

The best moments we have in our lives are with our friends. Where's the fun of getting drunk alone? (for example).
Money don't give you happiness, just help. Anyway soon or later, you'll find out your real life purpose.

i dont think my friends would make it down the street an back lol. but itd be funny as hell to watch them try it an then dare them to do somethin completely off the wall. evertime ive attempted to get drunk wit my friends it didnt turn out too good for one of us lol.

don't get drunk then. get high. it'll be really fun to watch everyone including yourself to be loopy or buzzed. hehe... and while ya'll are at it, add some fun to being high

-Kendo (practiced for a few years and I'm a first dan, next year I'll have my exam for a second dan in some other country)
-Karate (black belt and that's it)
-Ninjutsu (mastered 4 of the 10 schools availiable)
-Had 2 bands, one metal and one rock.
-Bungee jumping
-Mountain climbing
-Sewer expedition
-Sleep in at a graveyard (do it quite often with some girl friends)
-Tennis (practiced for a few years and even went on some national wide competitions)
-Kickbox (did it for a month, but got bored of it)
-Skate (i used to skate before I got my injury, now I can't skate anymore)
-I've been to several countries, I love to travel and learn new cultures
-I've played pretty much every rpg and mmorpg out there, I love games.
-I've watched over 200 animes read around the same amount of mangas (from beggining to the end).
-My house is like a library, so I've read many books, probably more than I can account for.
-I've been in the scouts.
-When I was younger I belonged to a swiming school, I swam for competitions during 8 years.

I play drums, guitar and electric guitar, which was what I played in those two bands. (If that was directed at me)

tbh. i didn't really read this thread, just the title, and the first post so i'm going 2 guess.

well anyways, i was stuck in a rut before, well if u call a rut a drug spree, anyways, i cleaned up, no pills, no gas, no cocaine. i just smoke weed now, but thats cuz of 2 reasons, its duper fun, and second, my doctor said that it helps my seizures

it was directed at you, but my point wasn't CAN you play an instrument, it was the fact that even if you DO, or if anyone WERE to, they would still totally suck compared to the great musicians in the past.

lol ive tried that before an the ppl i tlked to just looked at me like wtf mate? kinda made me giggle on the inside. i actually needa practice my trumpet alot more now though cuz im plannin on bein in the college band when i start in the fall.
